BOB SINCLAR on the cover of "Playboy" - Sort of!

Ya know, we receive a TON of promo CDs, press releases and freebie preview stuff in the mail thanks to this lil' site we have (one of the few perks ;) )... and most of it looks the same. Generally it's a CD that some publicist wants us to review, accompanied by a boring, canned press release that looks like it was copied on something older than the Gutenberg Press.

Which is why it's so fun when we see some real creativity out there... and leave it to Bob Sinclar to get creative!

He's got a new mix compilation coming out on October 24 called "Bob Sinclar: Live from the Playboy Mansion." We'll have a full review of it on the site soon, but I took a quick listen and loved it... modern house with old skool disco... I can so see Hugh Hefner lounging poolside while he's getting fanned by hot bunnies. Haha.

The last two years have been good to Sinclar... this French lothario has garnered himself a huge stateside fanbase thanks to "World Hold On" and "Love Generation." The new album does have some of Bob's original work ("Kiss My Eyes" and "I Wanna Go Bang,") but it's mainly a groovy mix of everyone from Barbara Tucker to Grace Jones. Hot stuff.

PS. Random trivia fact... before he decided to go into DJing, Bob Sinclar was preparing for life as a tennis pro. Bet Tiger Woods can't man the decks like him, though!

PPS. I SWEAR to God I'm really going to reveal which of the Divas I saw last week. I know I've been saying it for a while. Haha. I'm just trying to find my digital camera battery... I wanna put her pic up, but the cam is dead! Damn it!
